Liebherr starts series production of new R 926 Compact crawler excavator

In May 2018 Liebherr-France in Colmar began the series production of the new R 926 Compact excavator. This new model continues Liebherr’s compact excavator product line but with a Stage IV / Tier 4f emission standards compliant engine and other developments compared to its Stage IIIB model. The new R 926 Compact joins the ranks of Liebherr’s compact machines in the 15 to 35 tonne weight range.

New major investment at Liebherr in Kirchdorf: Ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the new logistics centre for production

Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger GmbH starts a new investment in the future in Kirchdorf an der Iller, thus strengthening the development of the original location of the overall Liebherr Group. The first construction phase of the logistics centre for production started on 11 June 2018 with an official ground-breaking ceremony. Liebherr will invest a total of around 35 million euros in the project. The project is planned to be completed at the end of 2020.

Liebherr R 950 Demolition crawler excavator masters demolition of Nuremberg post office building

Construction company Reithelshöfer carried out the demolition of Nuremberg’s old post office building. The company’s new Liebherr R 950 Demolition crawler excavator was involved in improving the road layout around Nuremberg's central station. With its impressive fleet of excavators, Reithelshöfer is one of the leading medium-sized companies in Germany’s Franconian region.

Third Liebherr Wheel Loader for Jordan Rail

Jordan Rail Pty. Ltd. took delivery of their third Liebherr wheel loader in Western Victoria in March 2018. The L 550 XPower®, equipped with industrial linkage and quick hitch to accommodate diverse attachments like buckets, forks and crane jibs, will work in rail maintenance and rail construction applications throughout Victoria.

L 556 XPower® Delivered to Fulton Hogan in New Zealand

Fulton Hogan, who has been building roads, ports, airports, infrastructure and property throughout Australasia for more than 80 years, recently took delivery of a L 556 XPower® at their Sand Plant in Tauranga, New Zealand.

Liebherr showcases demolition spec R 960 SME at Hillhead 2018

Stand Z6 at Hillhead 2018 will showcase a number of machines from Liebherr’s extensive product portfolio, including a line-up of XPower wheel loaders, dozers and crawler excavators with the latest truck mixer and mobile pump technology from Liebherr’s concrete division and an R 956 excavator and L 576 XPower wheel loader working at the quarry face.

Liebherr showcases specialist machines at IFAT 2018 in Munich

From 14th to 18th May, Liebherr will have a 300 m² stand at IFAT 2018, the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, which takes place in Munich. In hall C5 at stand 151/250, Liebherr will showcase specialist machines for the recycling industry and waste management. In addition to the two material handlers, the LH 22 M Industry Litronic and LH 30 M Industry Litronic, the L 556 XPower wheel loader from the successful XPower generation will also be on show.

Liebherr opens new agency in south-east of France

Liebherr inaugurated its new facility in Rognac on 9th March 2018 in front of 400 customers. The new facility is now in charge of the sales, rental and service of earthmoving, material handling and construction machines. Only 30 km from Marseille, the new location has 60 employees.

M-Kran takes delivery of another Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 mobile crane

Crane company M-Kran took delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 mobile crane in December. This is the second crane of this type in the fleet as the Liebherr 500-tonne machine is in particularly high demand in Russia. The 8-axle 500-tonne mobile crane represents an expansion in the Moscow company's fleet in this load capacity class. The LTM 1500-8.1 is now the fourth mobile crane that Liebherr has delivered to M-Kran this year.

LIPOS®: Accuracy put in a nutshell

Exact positioning and precise execution of piling and drilling processes are crucial for the success of deep foundation machinery. Using a factory-mounted add-on kit Liebherr’s positioning system LIPOS® allows for the direct integration of a Trimble or Leica machine control system into its process data recording and reporting systems. The positioning systems for drilling and piling rigs are based on state-of-the-art Differential Global Navigation Satellite Systems (DGNSS) technology and so creating the ideal conditions for a precise and efficient positioning of Liebherr machines and their working tools.

Trade show premiere: the Liebherr A 914 Litronic wheeled excavator

At this year's Intermat, Liebherr will be presenting its Stage IV / Tier 4f emission standards compliant A 914 Litronic wheeled excavator at a trade show for the first time. With an operating weight of between 14,900 and 17,200 kg and an engine power of 105 kW / 143 HP, the A 914 Litronic adapts perfectly to both classic earthmoving and road, sewer and pipeline construction.

Liebherr completes the new Stereoloader® range for Intermat 2018

Liebherr completes the latest Stereoloader® generation at Intermat 2018. It is comprised of four wheel loaders with an operating weight of 5.5 to 9.2 tonnes. Two models in the new range will be celebrating their world premiere at the fair. Liebherr’s stereoloaders® have stood for safety and reliability for over two decades. The name of these wheel loaders refers to their unique stereo steering, which combines the advantages of different steering systems. Liebherr's stereoloaders®, measured over the outer edge of the equipment, consequently offer a significantly smaller turning circle than other wheel loaders in this size category.
