Cutter Soil Mixing

The mixing equipment for cutter soil mixing consists of a rectangular Kelly bar and the cutting head.

The hydraulically driven drums which are fitted with cutting teeth loosen and mix the soil.

Counter-rotating drums provide uniform mixing and a homogeneous mixing result.

As the cutting head penetrates the ground a binding agent suspension is introduced through an injection pipe and mixed with the soil.

During extraction the binding agent is further added in doses. Thereby the soil mortar is mixed rotationally a second time.

If required, the freshly produced soil mixing panels can be fitted with reinforcement structures.
