    The Austrian Torrent and Avalanche Control Centre implements structural protection measures in areas at risk of extreme weather events, such as landslides, floods and avalanches, in order to protect the Austrian population from the damage these events can cause.     For many years, the construction site of an international research facility in Darmstadt has witnessed mobile and crawler cranes being operated by Riga Mainz GmbH & Co.
