Digging, excavating & modelling

The day-to-day business of many gardening and landscaping projects include preparatory earthworks such as digging and excavating topsoil, pulling and placing gravel, crushed stone and chippings as a substructure for paving or asphalt work, as well as preparing and carrying out planting work or soil replacement. Laying drainage, cables and pipes as well as modelling earth banks, terrain profiles, slope and bank reinforcements are all necessary for construction projects in landscaping.

Transport & erection

Where beautiful, large and creative things are created, a lot is in motion. From moving and loading bulk materials such as gravel, crushed stone, substrate or grit to transporting pallets or bulky objects such as trees or playground equipment, you need the right machines for daily material transport on the construction site. Especially when it comes to heavy objects such as boulders, river stones or natural stone walls, landscapers need powerful and sensitive helpers for transport and precise positioning.

Levelling

The foundation of many construction projects, such as sports fields or golf courses, is levelled by manufacturing surfaces and grading. In horticulture and landscaping, it is not uncommon for complex terrain shapes and profiles to be created and modeled. High precision is required when distributing and levelling gravel.

Liebherr wheeled excavators and crawler excavators are true masters in gardening and landscaping. Thanks to the short tail swing radius and four-wheel steering, the excavators are extremely manoeuvrable, even in the tightest of spaces. The optimally positioned swivel bearing on the A 910 Compact, A 912 Compact, R 914 Compact, R 918 and R 920 Compact makes parallel work child's play. With the large selection of attachments and quick-coupling systems, the excavator can be adapted to a wide variety of tasks in a matter of seconds while maintaining complete safety. It is therefore not only suitable for excavation, digging and grading work or for modeling complex terrain profiles, but also for transport, load lifting work, placing boulders or creating natural stone walls.

Wheel loaders

Liebherr wheel loaders offer top performance, manoeuvrability and versatility. The compact loaders have a low clearance height and low operating mass and can transport high payloads in the tightest of spaces due to their compact design.

The stereoloaders have a unique steering system that guarantees maximum manoeuvrability and flexibility. The L 507 E battery-powered wheel loader is based on the loader concept and also enables sustainable and emission-free work in gardening and landscaping. The L 509 Tele with telescopic mast is designed for high lifting heights and long reaches.

Thanks to various attachments and the SolidLink quick-change system, Liebherr wheel loaders can be effortlessly adapted to individual requirements in landscaping work at the touch of a button.

Crawler dozers

Liebherr crawler dozers offer a wide range of advantages in terms of performance, comfort, precision and environmental friendliness. The hydrostatic drive ensures uninterrupted transmission of the full pushing power to both tracks. Whether creating exact planes for sports facilities or modelling complex three-dimensional surfaces, the material can be installed quickly and with precision, saving time and costs. Thanks to the Liebherr Silent Design, noise is minimized in the cab with clear visibility. Thanks to its compact dimensions and foldable blade edges, the crawler dozers can be easily transported.

Crawler loaders

Liebherr crawler loaders are true all-purpose machines and can be used for a wide range of applications in horticulture and landscaping, whether for complex landscaping, pure material handling, heavy-duty deceleration, levelling or ripping work. They offer maximum efficiency and flexibility. The Generation 8 machines offer a high tip load and enable rapid direction changes and fast loading cycles, resulting in short cycle times and increased productivity.

The selectable eco-mode allows the engine speed to be reduced at the touch of a button, further reducing fuel consumption. This is ideal for light and medium-duty operations where lower performance is required.

Liebherr telescopic handlers are powerful and efficient universal machines that enable large quantities of material to be transported and lifted efficiently thanks to their fast and manoeuvrable operation and powerful working hydraulics.

The hydrostatic travel drive with infinitely variable acceleration enables enormous performance with low fuel consumption. Thanks to their high manoeuvrability maneuverability, the telescopic handlers guarantee fast work processes even in confined spaces. The cab offers clear visibility and enables safe and precise operator control of the machine and maximum driving comfort, even during longer work assignments.

Bucket and tiltrotator

The large bucket range offers a perfect selection for a wide variety of jobs. Backhoe buckets with their innovative geometry and optimum curb weight enable perfect penetration behaviour and low digging resistance. While swivel and ditch-cleaning-buckets are ideally applicable for grading work or modelling and creating earth banks thanks to the internal, protected swivel cylinder or the universal bucket in combination with the tilt unit.

The grading bucket specifically developed for grading work with an adapted bucket shape is suitable for complex applications on house walls or other obstacles.

Pallet fork

The Liebherr pallet fork for hydraulic excavators ensures fast, safe and easy material transport on the construction site. In combination with the tiltrotator, the pallet fork enables the hydraulic excavator to position and align the load perfectly. The pallet fork offers the excavators extended application possibilities and increases flexibility on construction sites enormously.

Grapple

The clamshell grabs are available in different sizes and with different digging shells made of solid, high-strength material for digging work or uncovering existing building elements on construction sites. The sealed rotary actuator and the solid construction of the grapples guarantee a long service life.

Natural stone walls can be erected efficiently and easily in gardening and landscaping with the robust sorting grapple. When setting heavy boulders, the high closing force is impressive and guarantees safe working.

Grading beam

Large, horizontal areas can be graded quickly and efficiently with the Liebherr grading beam. The grading beam is designed for use with a tiltrotator and offers reliable, torsion-resistant construction.

The grading beam can also be used as a transport frame for the tiltrotator, a grading bucket and a pallet fork. This attachment tool package can therefore be transported easily and safely.

Quick-coupling systems

Liebherr's quick-coupling systems, which have been tried and tested for decades and are constantly being further developed, guarantee maximum safety and efficiency as well as maximum flexibility. Almost any hydraulics or mechanical attachments can be changed conveniently, quickly and easily. Depending on the machine and application, the fully automatic SolidLink quick-coupling system or hydraulic and mechanical quick-coupling systems are available.

Sustainability

"Acting sustainably is not only a responsibility towards the environment, but also offers economic advantages. Fuel consumption is further minimised by automatically switching off the engine when the machine is idling. The Eco-Silent Mode is an innovative solution to reduce sound emissions. Another contribution to protecting the environment is the use of environmentally friendly hydraulic oils, such as the Liebherr Hydraulics Plus System, to reduce water and soil pollution. Hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) is a fuel alternative to conventional diesel and is produced from renewable resources.

The Reman programme

By using remanufactured components as part of our Reman programme, we are making an important contribution to protecting the environment and conserving resources. The Liebherr Reman programme offers a sustainable solution for preserving the value of machines through careful reconditioning by experts in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards. With its three stages (replacement components, general overhaul, repair), it enables cost-efficient repair work and extends the service life of machines. You also reduce your costs with attractive old part rebates.
