Liebherr and Rehlko expand strategic partnership to provide solutions for data centre industry

Long-term partners, the Liebherr components product segment and Rehlko, formerly Kohler Energy, aim to mutually provide next generation backup solutions for the rapidly growing data centre industry. Under the expanded agreement, Liebherr-Components will deliver highly efficient combustion engines to accelerate Rehlko’s data centre portfolio to meet increasingly high market demands.

Strength in motion: slewing bearings for Cimolai Technology’s rail-mounted boom cranes

Liebherr’s components product segment enters a collaboration with Cimolai Technology, a leading provider of special and innovative solutions for handling and lifting purposes. As part of the project, Liebherr is supplying high-quality slewing bearings for four rail-mounted boom cranes by Cimolai Technology. Once fully assembled, the 50-ton cranes will facilitate the loading and unloading of ships in the shipyard in Dubai and facilitate port operations. By joining outstanding quality and high standards, Liebherr and Cimolai Technology take the next step in strengthening their activities in the maritime industry. “We are proud to be part of this project and are excited about the beginning of a partnership that is set to grow further in the future,” says Roberto Cimolai, CEO of Cimolai Technology.

Energy storage and energy planning for construction sites

The Liduro Power Port (LPO) is an energy storage system for power supply on construction sites. It allows for locally emission-free operation and charging of hybrid or fully electric construction machinery and equipment. The high power density and compact design of the LPOs enable an efficient and flexible supply of machines or construction sites with diverse power requirements.

Intermat 2024: Liebherr displays exhibits with alternative drives plus a wide range of digital solutions

From 24 to 27 April 2024 in area Ext 6 C 051 of the Intermat trade show, Liebherr is presenting around 20 machines from the product segments of tower cranes, mobile and crawler cranes, components, earthmoving machinery, material handling technology, deep foundation machines and concrete technology. Not only the static exhibits of products but also a showcase of the range and innovation work of the Group in the fields of digitalisation, drives and service will form the focus of the company’s 3,264 m2 booth at the trade show.

Intermat 2024: Towards emission-free construction sites with Liebherr energy storage systems

The Liduro Power Port (LPO) is a mobile energy storage system for the supply of construction sites. Hybrid or fully electrically powered construction machinery and equipment can be operated or charged locally emission-free with the mobile energy storage system. The high power density and compact design of the LPO enable efficient and flexible supply to machines and construction sites with a wide range of power requirements. Its constant power output reaches up to 160 kW.

The Austrian track maintenance machines manufacturer system7 installs up to 24 Liebherr cameras in its lifting, lining and tamping machines. Liebherr breaks ground for new hydraulic cylinder plant in Oberopfingen

Liebherr’s components product segment is expanding hydraulic cylinder production with a new building at the Oberopfingen site. With the new plant, the mechanical production for hydraulic cylinders will join the existing main plant starting from 2024.
