XpertAssist, Liebherr’s additional remote service offers technical support that is optimised for routine maintenance, thorough machine diagnostics or rapid problem solving regardless of location.

More than just a video call

Audio-video connections between Liebherr technicians and site personnel provide real-time communication and efficient troubleshooting with step-by-step instructions as well as predictive maintenance advice. Quick second level support from the OEM is also available.

Immediate troubleshooting and maintenance

Whether via smart glasses, smartphone or tablet, technical issues can be quickly and clearly processed. Interactive communication, chat translation as well as screen and document sharing are but a few features.

XpertAssist includes a number of services that can be combined as required to provide the optimum solution. These include remote access to the machine control unit and diesel engine ECU, a customer licence for engine diagnostics and access to machine history and service reports.

Field service preparation
Should a site visit nevertheless be necessary, the technician is even better prepared as the job has been examined in advance and all necessary parts can be brought.

Post-processing
Due to time constraints, it is not always possible for the responsible person to meet the Liebherr technician on site. Therefore, Liebherr offers a debriefing via audio-video conference call to show the work done and to address possible additional findings.

For our company, which has all operations and projects outside our home country of Turkey, such remote service is perfect. Recently, assistance was provided by Liebherr remotely in Jordan with no travel or accommodation costs and no time delays. The breakdown was fixed immediately to our utmost satisfaction and we are very grateful for this extended assistance.
