Development Engineer Subsystems (m/w/x)Bulle

Your Responsibilities

• You support the development of new engine components across all engine subsystems
• You contribute to establishing the technical requirements for components under development, as well as their essential operational parameters
• You collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure that the selected technology and specifications align with project needs, including design, engine testing, and project management
• You collaborate with suppliers on technology surveys and component developments
• You support FMEA processes and contribute to knowledge management by documenting failure modes and lessons learned
• You supervise testing activities at the engine, machine, or supplier sites, and support test bench operators in case of technical problems during testing activities
• You define instrumentation plans and test cycles for validation in collaboration with the subsystem owner and the testing department
• You define, monitor, and update DVPnR tasks and statuses in the validation portal

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• You have advanced knowledge in the field of combustion engines, DVP&Nr methodology, as well as troubleshooting and problem-solving
• You have more than 3 years of experience in engine and hardware development
• You have an excellent command of English and French
• You have an excellent command of MS Office and CAD Tool
• You define yourself as an analytical thinker and approach your work with flexibility and resilience, while remaining mindful of cost and resources
