Grúas Alhambra takes delivery of first Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 mobile crane on the Iberian Peninsula

With the procurement of the Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 mobile crane, the Spanish crane company Grúas Alhambra is becoming a pioneer: It takes over the first unit of this new type on the Iberian Peninsula. The innovative all-terrain crane with a 90-metre telescopic boom is ideal for the company’s current needs, as it was looking for a crane with greater lifting capacity and height. Grúas Alhambra will use the LTM 1300-6.3 for refinery work, wind turbine maintenance and many other applications thanks to its versatility.

Liebherr-France SAS, based in Colmar, France, is responsible for the development and production of the Liebherr Group's crawler excavators. As part of its efforts to strengthen local supply chains, Liebherr-France SAS is planning to open a new manufacturing site for welded components as well as pre-assembly and assembly work for driver cabs in the EcoRhena industrial park in Nambsheim (Alsace, France) in 2025. Liebherr is investing 170 million euros on an area of around 47 ha and will create more than 300 jobs.

Guindastes Centro Oeste takes over first Liebherr mobile crane LTM 1230-5.1

The first Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 arrived in Brazil this month. Guindastes Centro Oeste’s new 230-tonne crane is the successor to the successful LTM 1200-5.1 and boasts one of the longest boom in its class, reaching a height of 75 meters. Additionally, the new 230-tonne crane offers, on average, 20% more lifting capacity than its predecessor. Equipped with VarioBase®, VarioBallast®, ECOmode, and ECOdrive technologies, this crane operates with maximum safety and efficiency.
