The Warehouse Agent is responsible to conduct any tasks relating to the warehouse, ensuring that inventory is managed accurately, orders are fulfilled promptly, and shipment are packaged properly to ship without fault.
The Warehouse Agent works collaboratively with team members from numerous of different departments to maintain organization and adhere to safety standards, contributing to overall operational efficiency and effectiveness. Warehouse functions include, cores, handling of warranty, receiving and allocating stock, utilization of space within the warehouse, parts return, picking, receiving, among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Unloading, inspecting incoming shipments, ensuring accurate orders
- Assisting with cycle counts and maintaining accurate records
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipping in a timely manner
- Arranging products in the warehouse efficiently and ensuring a clean and organized workplace
- Operating forklifts and other equipment safely to move heavy items
- Following safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Working with team members, supervisor, and other departments to meet productivity goals.
- Performing additional tasks as required to support warehouse operations
Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed).
- Adherence to safety protocols and workplace procedures.
