The LR 1200.1 unplugged is the world’s first battery-powered crawler crane. It is driven by an electric engine. During operation the crane can be connected to a conventional electric supply or without a cable, therefore “unplugged”. Depending on the application, the battery capacity is designed for up to 8 hours of operation. There are no compromises regarding performance or availability when compared with the diesel version LR 1200.1.

    Zero Emission
    The crane causes no emissions and significantly less noise. Thus, the crane is also suitable for operation in areas sensitive to noise.
    Electric engine
    The innovative crawler crane has an electric engine.
    Unplugged (battery powered)
    The battery capacity is sufficient for an operating time of up to 8 hours, depending on the mode of operation and power requirement.
    Plugged in
    The crane can operate fully when connected to a conventional electric supply, or be recharged within 4.5 hours.
    Comfort
    This includes a modern air-conditioning system with improved airflow, an optimized field of vision and increased noise protection, as well as an orthopaedic operator’s seat with integrated heating and cooling.
    High service availability
