Stratgic tasks
- Analyzing sourcing markets and supporting on-site supplier assessments / audits for potential suppliers as part of global sourcing strategies
- Development and implementation of material group and supplier strategies as part of our global purchasing organization
- Sustainable design and optimization of the supplier portfolio and supply chain, further development of existing suppliers and identification of supplier risks
- Carrying out price and value analyses and supporting make-or-buy decisions
- Conducting contract and price negotiations to achieve our cost and performance targets
- Close and trusting cooperation with other specialist departments, in particular for new product developments and cross-divisional projects
- Contributing purchasing expertise to various projects, such as the digitalization of the Group's purchasing department

In strategic purchasing, you will analyse procurement markets, develop material group strategies, conduct price negotiations and actively shape the supplier landscape. In operational purchasing, you will take care of quantity forecasts, demand planning, order processing and the optimisation of logistics processes.
Technical affinity, commercial mindset, ability to work in a team, experience with ERP systems and MS Office, strong communication and negotiation skills. You should have a good command of German and English.
You will work on an interdisciplinary basis, collaborating with colleagues from Production, Logistics, Development and Quality Assurance – often across sites. You represent the interests of the entire Liebherr Group in communication with suppliers.
