Which is the right grease for your application?
Liebherr Universalfett 9900
Convenient, economical and high-performance
- Universalfett 9900 was developed as an all-round grease for a variety of applications and can be used in central lubrication systems
- Squeeze-stable, highly adhesive, non-aging and water-resistant high-performance grease based on VCI technology
- Ideal for heavy-duty applications
Protection and reliability
- The grease is based on a special lithium complex soap and has a highly effective special corrosion protection (VCI) added to it
- Very good wear protection, even in high vibration loads (ripple protection test)
- Extreme-pressure additives (high-pressure additives) and a selected combination of solid lubricants and other synergistically acting substances offer reliable protection against wear and vibration corrosion.
Forward-thinking
- The product contains no Teflon (PFAS-free), meeting the requirements of tomorrow today
Typical areas of application: bolts, bushes, sliding surfaces, general lubrication points
Liebherr Spezialfett 9610 Plus
- Reliable long-term lubrication: specially developed for long-term use in central lubrication systems – reduces re-lubrication requirement and ensures constant performance over long periods of time.
- Maximum resistance in extreme conditions: highly adhesive, non-aging, weather-resistant and particularly stable in contact with water – ideal for challenging crane operations.
- Effective protection against wear and corrosion: the ultra-effective special corrosion protection extends the service life of the components and increases operational reliability.
For corrosion, moisture and long-term exposure
- Highly effective special corrosion protection
- Strong adhesive properties, squeeze-stable, non-aging and water-resistant
- Developed for roller bearings and slide bearings under extreme strain
- PFAS-free formula (manufacturer confirmation)
- Temperature range: −20 °C to +120 °C
Typical areas of application: slew rings, roller bearings, gear rings, axles, bolts, bearing points under extreme strain

Oil analyses – the cost-effective alternatives
Ever-increasing demands are being placed on modern hydraulics systems in terms of performance and precision; demands that the operating medium used in the system also has to fulfil. To safeguard the oil quality during use, and thereby achieve optimum oil change intervals, Liebherr recommends that used oil analyses are carried out at regular intervals.
Analysing the Liebherr operating fluids offers benefits to various sectors:
Firstly, the potential for extending the period of use of the hydraulic oil conserves resources and protects the environment. Secondly, the in-depth monitoring of the lubricant ensures the constant reliability and safe operation of your machines as a result of optimum maintenance condition and also optimises operating costs.

Sustainable packaging solutions for lubricants
Mindful of the circular economy and sustainability, we are turning our focus to reconditioned steel drums for the “drum” packaging unit for our lubricants. The multi-stage reconditioning process prolongs the life cycle of the drums, reduces waste and conserves valuable resources – a significant contribution to the sustainable economy.
Reconditioned drums
These drums are prepared by a multi-stage process:
They are washed with a high-pressure cleaner, sandblasted, repaired and inspected in line with the requirements of the dangerous goods act.
They are then given a white coat of paint before the Liebherr logo and our pattern are applied.
