The 4-axle LTM 1120-4.1 was chosen because of its very long 66-metre telescopic boom and its high load capacity combined with a compact design. The new Liebherr 120-tonne crane replaces an older 100-tonne crane in the NNH fleet, thereby increasing both lifting capacity and reach. It also offers modern mobile crane technology: on confined construction sites, the Liebherr innovations VarioBase® and VarioBallast® demonstrate their strengths and ensure increased performance, flexibility and safety. The versatile crane will mainly be used for industrial assembly, steel and hall construction projects, precast concrete assembly and machine relocation.
