Liebherr receives awards from its customer COMAC

The Chinese aircraft manufacturer COMAC has presented Liebherr-Aerospace with three awards. The ceremony took place from March 18 to 21, 2025 in Xi’an (China) as part of COMAC’s annual supplier conference.

Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH (Germany) received the “2024 Supplier of the Year Win-Win Cooperation Award” for outstanding support of the landing gear system on board the single aisle aircraft C919 and C909.

In recognition of exceptional customer service support Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS (France) received the “2024 Supplier of the Year On-site Support Excellence Award”.

And last but not least, Mr. Martin Eckart, working in the Landing Gear Department at Liebherr-Aerospace in Lindenberg, received the “2024 Supplier of the Year Outstanding Individual Contribution Award”. He oversees the contractual agreed gradual transfer of the C919 main landing gear series production from Lindenberg to China. The award honors his personal commitment and that of his team.
