Liebherr material handler LH 24 M Litronic at Smopyc 2017: compact and powerful

The LH 24 M on display is equipped with a straight 6.6m long boom, a 5m long stick with angled stick end and a Liebherr GM 65 five-tine grab with semi-closed tines and 0.6m³ capacity. Other machine configuration components include the infinitely adjustable hydraulic operator's cab as well as the front and rear outrigger support.

The LH 24 M Litronic material handler combines comfort, performance and reliability and convinces with groundbreaking fuel efficiency and high lift capacities with large ranges. The mounting points of the stick and lift cylinders are designed specifically for material handling. The robust and durable design of the equipment guarantees optimal use of the LH 24 M Litronic in industrial and recycling applications.

Despite its compact dimensions, the LH 24 M Litronic is extremely powerful. The turbo-charged four-cylinder diesel engine with charge air cooler delivers power of 105kW / 143HP at 1,800 RPM. The exhaust gas treatment is effected with a maintenance-free oxidation catalyst. A diesel particulate filter is not required to satisfy the Stage IIIB emissions standard but can be included as an option if required.

Equipment such as air pre-filters with dust discharge, reversible fans or coarse matrix radiators have been specially developed for deployment in areas heavily contaminated with dust and guarantee maximum reliability under these demanding conditions. The service-oriented machine layout also guarantees short maintenance times and minimises resultant maintenance costs.

The robust undercarriage of the LH 24 M Litronic ensures the stability of the machine. The large support width and the lever geometry between mono boom and lift cylinder enable high lift capacities and are perfectly adapted for handling, unloading and sorting all types of materials, general and bulk cargo.

The machine is equipped with an infinitely adjustable hydraulic operator's cab, including automatic air-conditioning, as standard. This gives the operator an optimal view of the working area and ensures safe and efficient working. The air-suspended operator's seat also comes with seat heating and lumbar support as standard for a high degree of comfort.
