Italian customer Mantovani Global Services Srl expands its fleet by adding a 150-tonne mobile crane. The new LTM 1150-5.3 is lining up next to an LTM 1100-5.2 and an LTM 1250-5.1.
Ehingen (Donau) (Germany), 17 May 2024 – Italian customer Mantovani Global Services Srl purchased an LTM 1150-5.3. The new mobile crane successfully rounds off crane hire company’s fleet and is lined up next to an LTM 1100-5.2 and an LTM 1250-5.1. The 150-tonne-crane will be used for many different applications such as construction and naval port industries. “We wanted to complete our fleet and eventually the LTM 1150-5.3 was the best choice. The crane convinced us with its versatility, its boom length and VarioBase® system. Despite its dimensions, the crane is compact, has great manoeuvrability, and economic efficiency”, says owner Sandro Mantovani. The crane has a 66-metre-telescopic boom and when fully extended, it can lift more than nine tonnes. “Indeed, it can complete lots of jobs without requiring additional ballast transport vehicles”, says Mantovani.

The crane hire company from Venetia started its business in the 1950s. Today Mantovani offers customers a complete crane service for heavy lifts. A wide range of services comprises mobile cranes with lifting capacities of up to 250 tonnes and booms of up to 90 metres. Aerial platform services up to a height of 60 metres – with or without an operator – and helicopter service for transport and lifting work complete the service portfolio.

The crane and logistics company Henneberger Schwerlast e.K. has acquired a Liebherr mobile crane LTM 1100-5.3. The ability to carry up to 16.9 tonnes of counterweight on public roads and the vehicle’s narrow width of just 2.55 metres were the decisive factors in the purchase.
