More power: Kurth Autokrane takes delivery of Liebherr LTF 1060-4.1 truck mounted telescopic crane
Kurth Autokrane has taken delivery of a Liebherr LTF 1060-4.1. The 60-tonne truck mounted telescopic crane replaces a 15-year-old LTF 1045-4.1 in the fleet of the company from Blankenheim in North Rhine-Westphalia. The higher load capacity and good experience with the predecessor tipped the scales in favour of the 60-tonner on series trucks.

Cranes by the dozen: Richter Kran und Schwerlast GmbH takes delivery of an LTM 1100-5.3
As the company’s twelfth mobile crane, the LTM 1100-5.3 not only enhances the capabilities of Richter Kran und Schwerlast GmbH’s Liebherr crane fleet but also marks the introduction of the new LICCON3 control to their operations. New Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 Mobile Crane goes to Auto Kurz
Auto Kurz GmbH has taken delivery of a new LTM 1070-4.2 mobile crane from Liebherr. It replaces a five-year-old LTM 1090-4.2 in the crane fleet of the company from North Hesse. The Liebherr 70-tonner is a proven crane with innovative mobile crane technology. The renowned Liebherr service, quality and value retention were important criteria in the decision.

Investment in innovation: Aguado purchases narrow-track LR 1700-1.0W crawler crane
The Aguado Group has taken delivery of a Liebherr LR 1700-1.0W. With the new narrow-track crawler crane, the Spanish company is expanding and modernising its high-performance machine pool. The 700-tonne lattice boom crane meets customers' growing requirements and offers them innovative technical solutions. The LR 1700-1.0W offers versatility, economical transport, high load capacities and a state-of-the-art variable boom system.

Four Giants go for Windpower: BMS Heavy Cranes assembles offshore wind turbines in Esbjerg
Everything is relative. While the popular Liebherr LR 1750/2 crawler crane is often the all-rounder on wind power construction land-based sites, Lars Thomsen, Onsite Project Manager at BMS Heavy Cranes uses it for smaller jobs at the site in Esbjerg, Denmark. The 35-strong BMS Heavy Cranes team in Esbjerg is currently performing a major order: The assembly of 106 wind turbine towers for a gigantic new offshore wind power park near Borkum. Work began in December 2023 and will be completed by the end of 2024. Thomsen's preferred hoists in Esbjerg are three Liebherr LR 11350 high performance crawler cranes in SDB configuration with 132 Meter main boom and 42 Meter Derrick.

Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH converts to HVO fuel
Since August 2024, the Liebherr factory in Nenzing, Austria, has switched to HVO fuel for the machines it produces. The big advantage in using this instead of fossil diesel is that it is largely CO2 neutral. The company is thus making an important contribution to reducing global greenhouse gas emissions. The HVO fuel is now also being used in the factory’s supply chain.

At the end of October, around 30 visitors came together at the premises of Saudi Liebherr Company in Dammam to experience an exclusive demonstration of the MK 140 mobile construction crane. The event was organised by Saudi Liebherr Company in collaboration with ACT Group Co., a leading provider of crane services in Saudi Arabia. ACT invited customers from the petrochemical industry to the event to give them a first-hand look at the benefits of this innovative crane concept.

90 metre telescopic boom: Weise strengthens its crane fleet with LTM 1300-6.3
Schwerlast Weise GmbH has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 mobile crane. The 300-tonne crane strengthens the fleet of the Thuringian crane and logistics company, which will be celebrating its 35th anniversary next year. An important decision criterion was the 6-axle mobile crane's 90-metre telescopic boom, which enables the assembly of construction cranes and electricity pylons without lattice jibs, for example.

The Mexican crane and heavy haulage company ESEASA has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LR 1700-1.0W. It is the first crane of this type in Latin America. In addition to the narrow travel gear, which mainly offers advantages in wind farms, ESEASA has also ordered the wide standard travel gear. The crane also comes with a variety of boom configurations, providing maximum flexibility and making it ideal for use in industrial applications as well.

The ‘Provence Grand Large’ project comprises three 8.4 MW wind turbines on floating platforms anchored 17 kilometres off the coast. Closing the gap: Wertz-Autokrane takes delivery of Liebherr LTM 1110-5.2 mobile crane
Wertz Autokrane GmbH & Co. Transport KG has taken delivery of a new LTM 1110-5.2 mobile crane. It complements the fleet of the traditional Aachen-based company with a load capacity of between 90 and 150 tonnes. The ability to operate the 5-axle mobile crane with a total weight of 48 tonnes and the advantages of the new Liebherr LICCON3 crane control system were important decision criteria.

To mark its 20th anniversary, Stoddart Crane Hire gave itself a special gift: just in time for its planned summer celebrations, the Scottish crane service provider put a new Liebherr LTM 1150-5.3 mobile crane into operation. The family-run business, based in Muir of Ord, west of Inverness and about 10 kilometres from the famous Loch Ness, has made a name for itself as a crane service provider on Scotland's islands, among other areas.
