The intelligent and functional design of the XPower wheel loaders convinced the distinguished jury of experts. The Red Dot Design Award 2016 in the product design category goes to the wheel loaders L 550 to L 586 XPower® made by Liebherr.

Liebherr is awarded the Red Dot Award 2016 for its new L 550 to L 586 XPower® wheel loaders in the “Product Design” category. The award was announced by the top-ranking jury of experts at the Red Dot gala, which was held on Monday in Essen (Germany). The intelligent, functional design of the XPower wheel loaders won over the jurors.

Introducing Liebherr at Hillhead 2016

Liebherr has something for everyone at Hillhead this year. The range of machines on display includes wheel loaders, including the new generation of XPower® wheel loaders, bulldozers, quarry specification excavators, a refurbished material handler and examples of Liebherr’s concrete technology. Liebherr supplies excavator for Moray Council’s new dredger

Moray Council, the only authority in Scotland to own a dredger, invited Liebherr-Great Britain to design and supply an excavator for direct mounting on its new £2.5 million dredger, MV Selkie. The R 936 excavator, supplied with marine specification and two excavation buckets, was selected for its ability to fulfil the requirement to dredge up to 8 m under water. On the dredger’s first trip out, the R 936 unloaded 260 tonnes from its hull in half an hour.

New first three L 566 XPower® wheel loaders delivered to RBS Kiesgewinnung GmbH & Co. KG in Hamburg

Delivery of first XPower® wheel loader “made in Bischofshofen” as RBS Kiesgewinnung GmbH & Co. KG extends its fleet with three new Liebherr L 566 XPower® wheel loaders. Representatives of Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen GmbH and Liebherr-Baumaschinen Vertriebs- und Service GmbH (Hamburg branch) personally handed over the new XPower® wheel loaders. The three L 566 XPower® machines are being used for the loading of sand and gravel.
