The new R920 Compact swing crawler excavator, which was showcased for the first time at Bauma 2016, is now available worldwide. The compact swing model has been designed specifically for use in restricted construction sites or in inner city areas.

A new series of Liebherr earthmoving equipment developed for lower regulated markets

During Conexpo 2017, Liebherr is exhibiting a new line-up of Liebherr machines specifically developed for lower regulated markets; the R920 and the R924 crawler excavators and the L 550 wheel loader.

The new Liebherr A 918 Litronic wheeled excavator at Conexpo 2017

Liebherr presents the A 918 Litronic wheeled excavator compliant with the latest emission stage Tier 4f / Stage IV at Conexpo 2017. With an operating weight between 38,800 – 43,600lb (17,600 and 19,800kg) and engine power of 163HP /120kW , the A 918 is the ideal machine both for standard earthmoving and road construction, as well as drainage and pipeline work.

Liebherr unveils the new PR 716 crawler dozer at Conexpo 2017

Liebherr has extended its Generation 6 crawler tractor line with the new PR 716 Litronic. The line now includes six models, with operating weights ranging from 29,100 to more than 160,000lbs.

Efficient and comfortable: BRCM puts the Liebherr R 946 crawler excavator to work

French company BRCM (Budillon Rabatel Concassage Mobile) has put a new Liebherr R 946 crawler excavator into operation. The R 946 was added to BRCM's machine fleet in summer 2016 and ensures the crushers are supplied with material. After the first few months in operation the machine already stands out in terms of its capacity and particularly high level of driving and operating comfort.

Fuel consumption information for all XPower wheel loaders is now available in the Liebherr fuel-saving calculator. The consumption figures, compiled from live data, are constantly updated and provide information that demonstrates the outstanding efficiency of the XPower wheel loaders.

Deployment of five Liebherr R 918 crawler excavators at the port of Ravenna

In the port area of the Italian town of Ravenna, "Compagnia Portuale di Ravenna" (Ravenna port company) uses around forty machines. These machines include five Liebherr R 918 crawler excavators which are deployed in the cargo areas of freight ships for restacking bulk cargo. They do the ground work for the port crane which unloads the freight quickly and efficiently with a grab.

At Bauma Conexpo India 2016, Liebherr is exhibiting the wheel loader L 550, an example of its expanding wheel loader product range for India and less / non regulated countries. Due to its hydrostatic driveline, the L 550 is – like all Liebherr wheel loaders – very fuel efficient, consuming up to 25 percent less fuel compared with conventional wheel loaders under the same conditions. The optimum weight distribution of the machine increases productivity at work, because larger buckets can be used to handle more material with each loading cycle

The trade fair is held from December 12-15, 2016 at the HUDA Ground, Gurgaon / Delhi. Heinz Kecht GmbH, with its head office in Siegsdorf, is the first customer to use the new Liebherr R 926 crawler excavator. With a new engine compliant with exhaust emissions stage IV / tier 4f, the 30-tonne class machine replaces the stage III / tier 3a version. Two Liebherr R 976 crawler excavators in S.C. Grandemar’s quarries in Romania

After several years using crawler excavators with shovel loaders for rock extraction, S. C. Grandemar S. A. has invested in two new Liebherr R 976 crawler excavators with backhoe attachments. The Romanian company was impressed with the technical solution put forward by the manufacturer, but also with the aftercare from the local Liebherr company.

Four economical XPower wheel loaders for the Stolz company: Low diesel consumption decisive factor for new acquisition

The Stolz company reinforces their company fleet with four new L 580 XPower wheel loaders. The four new XPower wheel loaders are used for the extraction and back-loading of lava, basalt and substrate. With the new wheel loaders, Dieter Stolz's fleet now comprises 15 Liebherr machines.
