Mobile and modular: the new Mobilmix series
Mixing plants for the manufacture of concrete have been a firm fixture in Liebherr’s product range for 70 years. All those decades of valuable experience were also drawn upon when developing the new Mobilmix series, a flexible and mobile concrete mixing plant. Its modular construction allows customers to assemble and start up quickly, as well as giving them more freedom to configure the plant to their individual needs. LiPerformance process optimisation improves the mixing process further still, so that energy consumption can be cut by up to 30 %. Enhanced weighing accuracy reduces how much cement is consumed.
Compact construction, personalised operation
The name says it all: the new A 909 Compact and A 911 Compact wheeled excavators break the mould with their small proportions, making them ideal for sites where space is at a premium. Nevertheless, the drivers still have enough room in the cab and the generously proportioned glazing ensures a safe view out. Furthermore, the excavators feature the INTUSI (Intuitive User Interface) operating system as standard. This shows the driver all the machine status information they need and enables them to personalise how the excavator operates.

First all-electric duty cycle crawler crane from Liebherr
Liebherr introduces the first fully electric duty cycle crawler crane – the HS 8100.2 dual power – giving customers total freedom. They can operate the duty cycle crawler crane on a fully electric basis by using grid electricity or, if charging infrastructure is limited or non-existent, there is still the built-in diesel generator. Plus, the electric free-fall winches recuperate energy, enabling the HS 8100.2 dual power to deliver the same performance from 30 % less energy than the conventional version. These benefits make the duty cycle crawler crane an ideal choice for construction sites where noise and emissions need to be kept to a minimum.

Port handling goes electric
With the launch of the LH 40 M Port E and LH 60 M High Rise Port E, Liebherr introduces two electric material handling machines that are specially designed for the efficient handling of bulk and general cargo in ports and harbours. Both machines work on an electrical drive concept for zero-emission and low-noise operations. While the LH 40 M Port E is designed for dynamic work movements, the LH 60 M High Rise Port offers an impressive weight-optimised design and can carry heavy loads at long reaches.

Mobile and efficient energy supply for remote construction sites
The Austrian Torrent and Avalanche Control governmental department uses the LPO 100 mobile energy storage system from Liebherr for the first time, supplying power to a remote construction site in the Ellmautal valley (Austria). Owing to the poor supply of mains electricity around the site, the use of a Liebherr fast-erecting crane in particular, caused electricity peaks and power shortages. Rather than relying on a conventional diesel-powered generator, the approx. 94 kWh energy storage system can now manage peak loads of up to around 100 kVA. It supplies power not only to the crane but also to other machines and can be charged either during the day or overnight. Using the energy storage system saves some 2,000 litres of diesel per month, cutting CO2 emissions over a four-month period by approximately 20.3 t.
