Für hochalpine Einsätze: Clausen beschafft zweiten Liebherr-Raupenkran LTR 1060

Seit 2013 betreibt das Schweizer Kranunternehmen Clausen einen Liebherr Teleskop-Raupenkran LTR 1060. Er hat seine hervorragende Geländegängigkeit bei hochalpinen Einsätzen in der Bergwelt der Walliser Alpen schon mehrfach unter Beweis gestellt. Aufgrund überzeugender Erfahrungen mit dem Liebherr-Kran und der guten Auftragslage hat Clausen einen zweiten LTR 1060 beschafft. Auch dieser ist für Einsätze auf Gebirgsbaustellen mit steilen und schwierigen Zufahrten vorgesehen.

Liebherr unterstützt Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf bei GaLaBau-Studienprojekt mit Compactlader L 506

Unter dem Motto „Climate Move“ baut die Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf (HSWT) in einem Studienprojekt eine nachhaltige Gartenanlage für die Landesgartenschau Ingolstadt 2020. Insgesamt arbeiten 55 Studenten aus Deutschland und Frankreich selbstständig am Projekt. Ziel ist es, das Thema Nachhaltigkeit als Leitfaden in der Bauabwicklung umzusetzen. Bei den Aufbauarbeiten mit dabei ist ein Liebherr-Compactlader L 506, den die Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen GmbH in Form eines Sponsorings als Unterstützung zur Verfügung gestellt hat.

Neue U-Bahnlinie für Mumbai

In der indischen Metropole Mumbai wird aktuell eine neue U-Bahnlinie gebaut. Sie soll die Überlastung der Stadt durch den Pkw- und Schienenverkehr verringern. Die Robbins Company wurde mit Teilen der Tunnelbohrarbeiten für dieses gigantische Projekt beauftragt. Hierfür vertraut Robbins erneut auf die bewährten Hauptlager von Liebherr.

Erfolgreichster Großkran aller Zeiten – 600ster Liebherr-Mobilkran LTM 1500-8.1 an Crane Korea übergeben

Nur vier Jahre nachdem Liebherr den 500sten LTM 1500-8.1 ausgeliefert hat, konnte nun die Nummer 600 feierlich übergeben werden. Der Kran ging an das koreanische Kranunternehmen Crane Korea Co. Ltd., das mit dem neuen 500-Tonner einen LTM 1400/1 ersetzt. Der LTM 1500 8.1 ist der weltweit erfolgreichste Teleskopkran seiner Liga und beschert Liebherr einen weiteren Auslieferungsrekord in der Großkranklasse.

Maryland-based Digging & Rigging takes delivery of LTM 1120-4.1 mobile crane at Conexpo 2020

Introduced to the world at Conexpo 2020 in Las Vegas, the LTM 1120-4.1 is the most powerful 4-axle crane in its class. Digging & Rigging is adding the first LTM 1120-4.1 to its fleet. The 217 ft (66 meter) boom is the longest in class and has extremely high lifting capacities at steep boom positions. This increases flexibility and saves costs, as this crane can tackle jobs which would normally require a 5-axle crane.

SKV Crane and Rigging takes delivery of LR 1800-1.0 crawler crane at Conexpo 2020

SKV Crane & Rigging has added a Liebherr LR 1800-1.0 to its fleet of crawler cranes. The crane will soon be in the field on upcoming wind projects in Wyoming. “I feel the LR1800 was the best choice for the upcoming projects in our area,” said Stephen Vinot, operations manager of SKV Crane and Rigging. “This is due to its easy mobilization and setup, its infield mobility without a derrick, lower ground bearing pressure and the flexibility to add a derrick and luffing jib for larger projects.”

Liebherr A 922 Rail Litronic at Conexpo Con/Agg 2020 construction trade show

Liebherr is presenting the new A 922 Rail Litronic at the Conexpo Con/Agg 2020 trade show. The new machine is available in both the Final Tier 4 and Stage IIIA (compliant) exhaust emissions standards. Because it is a railroad machine, the A 922 Rail is suitable for use on railway tracks and for road construction and is fast thanks to the mobile undercarriage. A rail travel drive is mounted on both sides of the undercarriage. When entering the rails, the rail travel drive lifts the tires to rail height. The inside wheels of the dual tires ensure travel of the excavator on the tracks.
