As one of the major on-board system suppliers for railway vehicles, Liebherr is establishing a new production site in the City of Pinghu, which aims to develop, test and manufacture state-of-the-art railway equipment for the Asian market. The investment contracts were signed on January 29th, 2019 in Pinghu by officials of the Pinghu Municipal Government and the National Level Pinghu Economic and Technological Development Zone (PEDZ) as well as by Liebherr management representatives.

More than 11,700㎡ in total belong to the company, of which more than 9,800 ㎡are foreseen for the workshop area. 1,200 m² will host administration, i.e. the team of Liebherr-Transportation Systems on site.

The Liebherr-Transportation Systems team has worked closely with PEDZ regarding the workshop renovation and the refurbishment of the existing offices. All works are progressing well and on schedule. Liebherr is taking thorough care of the safety level and the future environmental standards for the production facility to comply with todays and future regulations.

In order to provide the production, technical and administrative teams with a comfortable and suitable office environment, the necessary ground work for the construction and the company’s own canteen have been recently completed. Moreover, apartments are already available for Liebherr staff members in order to assure a high quality of living and to provide the basis for a good working environment for the employees.
为了给利勃海尔的生产、技术和行政团队提供一个舒适、适宜的办公环境，本月已经完成了办公室和公司自有食堂建设框架所需的基础工作。员工公寓的装修也很整齐。利勃海尔将为员工提供舒适的公寓，以保证高质量的生活，为所有利勃海尔员工提供良好的工作环境。
