Jandt Kranvermietung GmbH is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year and has acquired an LTM 1060-3.1 mobile crane from Liebherr to mark the occasion. The Bielefeld-based company is replacing one of the three LTM 1060-3.1 cranes in its fleet with the new 60-tonne crane. Reliability and performance were the deciding factors in investing in this proven crane type again.

Electric Liebherr portal crane strengthens Baria Serece
Located geographically within Thi Vai River, Baria Serece Phu My Port is the gateway for vessels coming from different regions of the world and transporting different types of cargo, such as agri-commodities, fertilisers, general cargo and more. The increase in productivity through use of the LPS means shorter vessel times in berth, a direct benefit to customers of the port.

Two crawler excavators came together on a construction site in Münsterland. Both are Liebherr machines, but there are 55 years of machine development between them. One is a Liebherr R 901 from 1968, weighing around 10 tonnes and with an angular design. It has been lovingly restored. The other: an ultra-modern Liebherr R 978 SME weighing over 80 tonnes with high-tech equipment, developed for the quarrying industry. The two exhibits share a common history.

Liebherr cranes drive maritime research forward
The Norwegian Ocean Technology Centre in Trondheim is one of Scandinavia’s most significant scientific infrastructure projects. Six Liebherr cranes are carrying out essential lifting operations, from concrete work and steel construction to installing prefabricated components. With precise engineering and high lifting capacities, Liebherr is contributing to the development of a globally unique centre for marine and energy technologies.
