Yunuslar Vinç has taken delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1300-6.4 mobile crane. With the new 300-tonne crane, the Turkish crane service provider is further expanding its range of services for complex lifting tasks in order to offer its customers even more efficient solutions for projects involving high load capacities and great lifting heights. “Apart from the high lifting capacity, the compact design and the new LICCON3 control system were decisive factors in choosing the new crane,” emphasises Managing Director Nazif Gündogdu. He also highlights the telescopic boom, which extends up to 90 metres, as well as the option of a configuration with a 22-metre fixed jib. “In the chosen working configuration, the crane achieves a lifting height of 112 metres.”
Greater capacity for demanding crane jobs
The new LTM 1300-6.4 will primarily be used in the sectors of heavy industry, steel construction, energy and industrial plants, as well as for machinery assembly and specialised lifts involving heavy loads. “For us, the new 6-axle crane is an investment in the future of our company. Our aim is to offer our customers even safer, faster and more powerful solutions and to further strengthen our market position through continuous investment in technology and our vehicle fleet,” explains Gündogdu. Yunuslar Vinç has a fleet totalling 70 vehicles and heavy-duty machines. With this new addition, the number of Liebherr cranes in the company’s fleet rises to 15 units.
The East Anatolian company, based in Malatya, has a workforce of 85 employees. Their experience forms the basis for the safe and successful realisation of challenging lifting projects. “Through continuous investment in staff, technology and our fleet, we aim to further strengthen our position as a reliable partner for projects throughout Türkiye and to offer an even broader range of services,” says Gündogdu.
First assignments in Antakya and İskenderun
The partnership between Liebherr and Yunuslar Vinç has been in place for four years. “As well as the crane’s technical capabilities, our positive experience with existing Liebherr equipment also played an important role,” says Gündogdu. “In addition to quality, reliability and innovative technology, the crane’s safety, user-friendliness and long-term cost-effectiveness were also key factors.”
The LTM 1300-6.4 has already demonstrated its capabilities: during its first two assignments, the 6-axle crane helped install a school bridge in Antakya that had been destroyed in an earthquake; and in İskenderun, it installed four oxygen tanks at an industrial site.
