At this year’s IFA in Berlin, taking place from 4 to 8 September 2026, Liebherr-Hausgeräte is presenting its latest refrigeration and freezing solutions under the motto ‘Preserve what matters’. At stand number 104 in Hall 2.1, the German manufacturer will show how smart technologies, long-lasting quality and timeless design work together to make everyday life noticeably easier, while keeping the focus on what matters.
New dimensions with XL and XXL fully integrated appliances and French Door
Fully integrated or freestanding appliances, Liebherr presents exciting new products in both categories that combine usable capacity, convenience and enjoyment. With its new XL and XXL fully integrated appliances, Liebherr makes the most of the available space and creates significantly more capacity for fresh food and individual lifestyles. Depending on the model, these fridges offer up to 100 litres more storage capacity and combine smart freshness technologies with high energy efficiency and precision craftsmanship ‘Made in Germany’.
To offer even more space and comfort, Liebherr is extending this commitment to its freestanding appliances and expanding its range of French-door models. First unveiled at IFA 2024, Liebherr continues to add appliances to its range. French door appliances impress with their spacious interior and sophisticated layout.
Smart features for greater convenience
Another area of focus is the further development of smart, digital solutions. The first step was updating Liebherr’s own SmartDevice app. It offers new features and an improved user interface, for even more intuitive control of the appliances. Users have access at any time to key appliance features, useful information on how best to store food, and helpful service options. At IFA 2026, Liebherr will also be unveiling new content for the app, which will keep users up to date on wine and energy efficiency.
As the energy consumption of appliances is a key aspect of sustainability for Liebherr, the refrigeration specialistis highlighting a particularly forward-looking innovation at IFA 2026: for the first time, Liebherr is presenting smart technology that optimises the operation of new freezers and sets new standards for efficiency and convenience. As one of the highlights of this year’s exhibition appearance, this innovation clearly shows how Liebherr combines smart features, responsible energy use, and reliable performance to deliver tangible added value.
