Thanks to sophisticated design solutions, the new XPower® large wheel loaders from Liebherr have received an iF Design Award 2016. Representatives of the Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen had the pleasure to receive the award personally in Munich on 26 February. They are among the winners of the renowned iF label. The international high-profile jury assessed more than 5,000 entries from 53 countries in order to determine who would receive this coveted seal of excellence.

The compact LTC 1050-3.1 mobile crane from Liebherr stands out at every level: performance, safety, economy and flexibility. Liebherr unveiled the single-cab crane at the Intermat 2015 as the successor to the successful LTC 1045-3.1. The Canadian transport and rental machine company Transport Camille Dionne 1991 Inc. decided in favour of a Liebherr crawler excavator R 946. The customer is satisfied. As of to date the company has worked over 600 operating hours with the excavator. The machine, which was manufactured in Colmar, France, demonstrates high reliability, optimal productivity and low fuel consumption.

Hanchang takes delivery of Liebherr LR 11000 crawler crane

Hanchang Heavy Equipment Co., one of the largest crane contractors in South Korea, officially took delivery of a new Liebherr LR 11000 crawler crane in mid-December 2015. At the same time Hanchang unveiled the 1000-tonne lattice boom crane to its customers and partners on its site in Ulsan. The new crane will supplement Hanchang's existing fleet of crawler cranes between the Liebherr LR 1750 and LR 11350 machines. Hanchang's reasons for buying the LR 11000 include its outstanding load capacities in all configurations and the very compact design of the Liebherr 1,000-tonne machine.
