XPower® wheel loaders receive iF Design Award 2016

Thanks to sophisticated design solutions, the new XPower® large wheel loaders from Liebherr have received an iF Design Award 2016. Representatives of the Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen had the pleasure to receive the award personally in Munich on 26 February. They are among the winners of the renowned iF label. The international high-profile jury assessed more than 5,000 entries from 53 countries in order to determine who would receive this coveted seal of excellence.

Productive in Canada: The Liebherr crawler excavator R 946 impresses at Transport Camille Dionne 1991 Inc.

The Canadian transport and rental machine company Transport Camille Dionne 1991 Inc. decided in favour of a Liebherr crawler excavator R 946. The customer is satisfied. As of to date the company has worked over 600 operating hours with the excavator. The machine, which was manufactured in Colmar, France, demonstrates high reliability, optimal productivity and low fuel consumption.

Helfaut Travaux reaches new heights with first Liebherr R 960 Demolition crawler excavator in use

Helfaut Travaux has upgraded its machine fleet with the new Liebherr R 960 Demolition crawler excavator. The excavator, launched at Intermat 2015 in Paris, is one of the major new offers from Liebherr’s Colmar factory. When selecting the machine Helfaut Travaux was impressed by both its extensive reach and Liebherr’s demolition expertise and experience. The machine purchased by Helfaut Travaux is the first R 960 Demolition in operation anywhere in the world.

Перегружатель Liebherr LH 110 C High Rise Port: новое оснащение для более интенсивной перевалки грузов

На Bauma 2016 группа компаний Liebherr представит новый перегружатель LH 110 C High Rise Port Litronic, разработанный специально для работы в портах. Таким образом, Liebherr дополнит линейку специализированных перегружателей, которые предназначены для промышленной перевалки таких грузов, как уголь, лом и лес. Перегружатель LH 110 Port предлагается в конфигурации с колёсной или гусеничной ходовой тележкой. Наряду с этим также доступно исполнение с портальной ходовой тележкой и «высокая» версия High Rise. LH 110 Port обеспечивает высокую производительность и при этом отличается низким расходом топлива, устанавливая новые стандарты эффективной и экономичной работы.

Колёсные погрузчики Liebherr XPower с новой трансмиссией завершили испытания продолжительностью 70 000 моточасов

Введение нового поколения колёсных погрузчиков XPower, соответствующих экологическим нормам Евро IV / Tier 4f, стало очередной вехой в успешной истории колёсных погрузчиков Liebherr. Множество новаторских решений было учтено в серийной комплектации новых машин. В частности, это новая комбинированная трансмиссия с разветвлением по мощности, усиленная конструкция и более высокая топливная эффективность. Новое поколение погрузчиков было подвергнуто серии интенсивных испытаний, в ходе которых большое внимание уделялось проверке надёжности всех ключевых компонентов. Например, мостов, гидравлики и трансмиссии XPower. Совокупно испытания продлились 70 000 моточасов, в течение которых погрузчики и их компоненты успешно подтвердили заявленные характеристики. Задействованы погрузчики были как на стандартной перевалке сыпучих материалов, так и для решения специфических задач.

At Bauma 2016 Liebherr will showcase the PR 776 Litronic crawler tractor, which is designed for tough mining and quarry operations. With the PR 776, for the first time Liebherr is launching a crawler tractor in the 70 tonnes category on the market.

At the beginning of November, more than 170 participants attended Liebhherr’s sales seminar and open house in Newport News (USA).

Liebherr wheel loader L 550 displayed at Excon 2015: Increased productivity at construction site

At Excon 2015, Liebherr is exhibiting the wheel loader L 550, an example of its expanding wheel loader product range for the Indian market. Due to the hydrostatic driveline, the L 550 is – like all Liebherr wheel loaders – very fuel efficient, consuming up to 25 percent less fuel compared with conventional wheel loaders under the same conditions. The high tipping load of the machine increases the productivity at work, because larger buckets can be used to handle more material with each loading cycle.

Liebherr Quarry Days attract over 1,000 visitors from all over the world

In the middle of October the Liebherr Group welcomed over 1,000 international customers from the quarrying sector in Saint-Nabor, France. The practical event offered visitors the opportunity to see a live demonstration of special Liebherr machines, and above all the chance to also test them out. There were new products among the 20 machines on show, such as the R 956 crawler excavator, the PR 726 crawler tractor and the new Liebherr large wheel loader XPower®.

New Website for used Liebherr Earthmoving Machines

Liebherr has given its online used machine portal for earthmoving machines a major revamp. The new site http://used.liebherr.com is now online. All used machines from the Liebherr Earth Moving Division will be available for sale on this internet platform.

Two Liebherr R 980 SME models for direct excavation: Schwenk Zement KG brings 100 tonne crawler excavator into operation

To increase its productivity, Schwenk Zement KG recently decided to purchase two Liebherr R 980 SME crawler excavators. The investment in the two 100 tonne excavators was made through the Ulm-based Liebherr sales partner, Nagel Baumaschinen Ulm GmbH. The excavators are deployed in the company's own limestone quarry for direct excavation.

Liebherr extends its crawler tractor generation 6 downwards – model premiere of the PR 726 at NordBau 2015 trade fair

Liebherr extends its generation 6 crawler tractor series to include the PR 726 Litronic. The series now totals four models with operating weights of approximately 16 tonnes to 41 tonnes, which comply with the emissions standards of Stage IV / Tier 4f.

Three tunnel wheel loaders and three tunnel excavators from Liebherr are working on a railway tunnel

The Koralmbahn is one of the biggest projects being tackled by ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG and involves expansion of the Austrian railway network. Alongside other machines, Implenia is using three Liebherr L 566 tunnel wheel loaders as well as three Liebherr R 944 tunnel excavators for this tunnel building operation.

Major duty cycle crawler crane contract for Liebherr

Liebherr secured a major contract with a Turkish customer comprising 51 HS 825 HD duty cycle crawler cranes at the end of last year. Following a successful acceptance test this spring the first 20 machines left the Liebherr factory in Nenzing for delivery.
