Work platforms are regularly placed into the water of the River Wupper in Wuppertal for the annual inspections of the car and pedestrian bridges over it. At the start of September, Wilden Kran - Vermietung GmbH hoisted a telescopic platform out of the river in front of an historic backdrop.

Cooperation for greener energy

Liebherr-MCCtec Rostock GmbH together with Aibel AS has signed a contract for the delivery of a cylinder-luffing crane, type RL 2600-35 Lit. The company TenneT TSO GmbH commissioned Aibel AS to build the offshore platform DolWin epsilon on which the Liebherr crane will be used for supply and maintenance tasks on the German North Sea.

On September 13, 2020, the Chinese car manufacturer SAIC Maxus Automotive Co., Ltd. (SAIC Maxus) launched in Shanghai its new MPV model EUNIQ 7 with Liebherr technology on board: The Liebherr fuel cell air compressor is part of the PROME P390 fuel cell system built into this new car.

CELSINEO – Start for unique modular trailer cooling

With Celsineo, Liebherr and the Krone Commercial Vehicle Group are launching a new type of cooling unit for trailers on the European market. The sale will begin at January 2021 and will be handled by the international Krone sales consultant network. All in the head – 1,000 tonnes on an 800 tonne crane

Heavy Lift Crane HLC 295000 to be repaired

Positive signals from Rostock: the offshore crane HLC 295000 from Liebherr is to be repaired. The crane, which is on board the special purpose vessel “Orion” and was damaged in the international Port of Rostock, will be completed in the course of 2021. The preparations for the recovery of the crane are in full swing.

The latest technology for erecting wind turbines - new major order from MaxiKraft for Liebherr

Crane and heavy haulage contractor MaxiKraft has placed an order with Liebherr for lattice boom cranes for industrial and wind power jobs – the order for LR 1800-1.0 and LR 11000 crawler cranes and the LG 1750 lattice boom mobile crane is the largest single order for lattice boom cranes that Liebherr has ever received from within Germany.

Norwest Crane Hire brings first LRT 1100-2.1 to Australia

The Australian company Norwest Crane Hire recently invested in two new cranes: an LTM 1300-6.2 and an LRT 1100-2.1 from Liebherr. The 100-tonne rough-terrain crane is the first of its type anywhere in Australia.

Flexibility in action – two new Liebherr LTM 1110-5.1 mobile cranes for Wasel

Wasel GmbH has taken delivery of two new Liebherr LTM 1110-5.1 mobile cranes. The crane and heavy haulage contractor based in Bergheim will use the new 110 tonne cranes to replace two LTM 1100-5.2 machines. As a result of the great flexibility of the new Liebherr 5-axle crane, Wasel plans to gradually replace other 100 tonne models in its crane fleet with the LTM 1110-5.1.
