Family outing: Four Liebherr K series cranes support bridge construction project
Great teamwork by four Liebherr K series tower cranes in the centre of the Emsland region in North West Germany: two 81 K.1 and two 53 K cranes are currently being used for concrete work and formwork transport purposes during the construction of a bridge measuring over 200 metres in length.

Depuis mai 2018, dix grues à tour High-Top 1000 EC-H 40 de très grande capacité prennent place sur les chantiers du Grand Paris. La 1000 EC-H 40 est le plus gros modèle de grue à tour Liebherr en opération en France. « Ces interventions sont très intéressantes. Si le marché de grue à tour français demande en général des capacités de charge de 12 t à 16 t, la demande sur les chantiers du Grand Paris se tourne désormais vers des machines de plus de 25 tonnes de capacité. Ces grues géantes servent à la manutention des voussoirs dans une logique de cadence industrielle de production », Christophe Zimmermann, Directeur Général Liebherr Grues à Tour France.

1000th Liebherr 81 K.1 fast-erecting crane delivered
At the end of June, Liebherr’s Tower Crane Division delivered its 1000th 81 K.1 since its launch back in 2016. The crane continues the successful run of the K series, particularly that of its predecessor, the 81 K. The Liebherr fast-erecting crane went to a family-run business in Ruhpolding, Bavaria. For Mayer Hoch – und Tiefbau GmbH, this is the third fast-erecting crane of its type and the fourteenth Liebherr tower crane in total.

Six in one go: Liebherr 125 K fast-erecting cranes for Dumberger
The construction company M. Dumberger Bauunternehmung GmbH & Co. KG has ordered six Liebherr 125 K fast-erecting cranes in company colours as well as a LiTRAX high-speed axle in package from Liebherr dealer Nagel Baumaschinen Augsburg GmbH. The first three cranes were delivered in the last couple of weeks. One of these is already in operation at a large housing construction project in Langweid am Lech.

Liebherr introduces new EC-B series cranes
Liebherr presents the 340 EC-B of its newest Flat-Top series at Conexpo Con/Agg 2020 in Las Vegas. Three of the eight units are equipped with fibre rope and therefore have ‘fibre’ added to their product title. Fibre rope’s service life is four times longer than steel rope and it enables fibre cranes to work with a significantly higher load capacity. In addition, handling is noticeably easier compared to steel rope.

The first ever tower crane with fibre rope for Poland: A 240 EC-B 10 Fibre has been dispatched and delivered to the Polish company Mazur Zurawie Sp. z o. o. Mazur and company representatives travelled to Liebherr-Werk Biberach GmbH in Germany specifically for this much-anticipated event.

Liebherr is unveiling the third and largest Flat-Top crane of the new NC-B series to date at the Excon in India: the NC-B 12-70. With a maximum lifting capacity of 12 tonnes and a maximum radius of 70 metres, it is significantly larger than the NC-B 9-62 and the NC-B 6-62. A specific 16 EC tower system has been developed for the NC-B cranes. The series also has its own variable climbing system.

Liebherr’s 125 K: the largest fast-erecting crane in its class at work in Switzerland
The crane hire company Vogel Kranvermietung GmbH expands its rental fleet with a Liebherr 125 K fast-erecting crane. With a radius of 55 metres and a maximum hook height of 65.5 metres, it is currently the largest fast-erecting crane on the market. The handover to Vogel Kranvermietung GmbH took place in September. During his visit to this year’s Bauma in Munich, owner Joseph Vogel was impressed by the 125 K fast-erecting crane’s innovative features, and consequently decided to invest in his company’s future.
