First LTM 1300-6.4 with LICCON3 technology for Richter Kran und Schwerlast in Leipzig

The crane and heavy haulage company Richter from Leipzig has expanded its fleet with an LTM 1300-6.4. The Liebherr mobile crane is the first 300-tonne crane worldwide to be delivered with the new LICCON3 control system.

First Liebherr compact crane for Brazil: Vertical Equipamentos chooses LTC 1050-3.1

The Brazilian company Vertical Equipamentos has expanded its fleet with a used LTC 1050-3.1 compact crane from Liebherr and in doing so has set a milestone: it is the first compact crane from Liebherr ever to be used in Brazil. The 3-axle crane was created especially for restricted working environments and in future will be used primarily in refineries and petrochemical plants.

Sustainable power supply in construction – Liebherr energy storage systems for Austrian civil protection

The Austrian Torrent and Avalanche Control Centre implements structural protection measures in areas at risk of extreme weather events, such as landslides, floods and avalanches, in order to protect the Austrian population from the damage these events can cause. The local authority in Pongau is the first to use a Liebherr energy storage system to power a construction site instead of a diesel generator. This saves around 2,000 litres of diesel per month.

Liebherr mobile cranes construct research facility: “Only possible with the LTM 1650-8.1”

For many years, the construction site of an international research facility in Darmstadt has witnessed mobile and crawler cranes being operated by Riga Mainz GmbH & Co. KG, a company specialising in crane and transport work. Now, mighty media bridges soaring some 20 metres into the air are being constructed around a building. Because of the limited crane parking space immediately adjacent to a building wall, the first module could only be lifted with the Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane.

A Liebherr MK 88-4.1E mobile construction crane has installed massive noise barriers as part of the four-track expansion of the Rhine Valley railway between Karlsruhe and Basel. The crane installed elements weighing 900 kg at distances of up to 43 metres. The intelligent crane control system, including the freely programmable working area limitation, ensures a high level of safety and prevents the load from swivelling over the ongoing rail traffic.

Liebherr delivers 1000 EC-H to Centinela Cooper Mine in Chile

The Liebherr 1000 EC-H 40 Litronic high-top crane has been successfully delivered to the Centinela Mine in Chile’s Atacama Desert. Deployed as part of Antofagasta Minerals’ “Nueva Centinela” project, the crane will play a key role in expanding production capacity and securing a sustainable supply of raw materials.

Floßdorf expands with crane duo from Liebherr

The crane and heavy haulage contractor Dietmar Floßdorf GmbH & Co. KG from Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler is expanding its crane fleet significantly with two new acquisitions from Liebherr: an LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane is now Floßdorf’s most powerful lifting device. An LTR 1150 from Liebherr was also put into service at the same time as the crane fleet’s new flagship.

Two Liebherr R 9350 excavators delivered to Kascco in Zambia

Across 2025, Liebherr Zambia has successfully delivered two R 9350 excavators to mining contractor Kascco, with the most recent handover taking place in late-August. To celebrate the delivery, representatives from both Liebherr Zambia and Kascco gathered for a handover ceremony. The R 9350 excavators are not only the largest Liebherr machines supplied to Kascco but also represent the largest mining excavators in Kascco’s entire fleet.

A crawler crane comes of age: 18 years LR 1300

What began in 2007 continues today as a success story in the 300-tonne class. The weightlifter impresses with its lifting capacities and its compact size, especially for challenges in construction and deep foundation. Although long established on the market, the latest generation of this crawler crane surprised – and even electrified – everyone at this year’s Bauma.

First LTM 1100-5.3 in Switzerland

The long-established Swiss family-run company JMS RISI AG has recently expanded its fleet with three modern construction machines from Liebherr. At the “Bauma” construction machinery exhibition in Munich, the experts in civil engineering and deep foundations secured themselves a package comprising three Liebherr products: an LTM 1100-5.3 mobile crane, an LB 45 drilling rig and a 110 D-K crawler concrete pump.
