Five Liebherr 542 HC-L 18/36 tower cranes were instrumental in helping Las Vegas’s newest landmark take shape from the ground up. Morrow chose the Liebherr 542HC-L 18/36 cranes for their robust capacities and fast line speeds. Located on the north end of the world famous Las Vegas Strip, the five cranes all reached a hook height of 686 ft.

Liebherr mobile harbour cranes make Rostock a hub of the New Silk Road

The first containers of the New Silk Road have been loaded in the port of Rostock. EUROPORTS Germany used their recently acquired Liebherr LHM 550 mobile harbour cranes to quickly load the containers from Xi'an in China. EUROPORTS Germany plans to expand Rostock into a distribution centre and also to connect Sweden and Italy to the New Silk Road link.

Freight Village Vorsino, located outside Moscow has placed an order with Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. for two rail mounted gantry (RMG) cranes. The RMG’s have a span of 32 m, a lift height over rail of 12.5 m and cantilevers of 8 m and 9.7 m respectively. The machines have a safe working load of 45 tonnes and feature a rotating machinery trolley.

Team players – three crane contractors from northern Germany jointly take delivery of new mobile cranes at the Liebherr Plant in Ehingen

Three crane hire companies based in northern Germany, Sönke Jordt, Schwarze ASC and Megalift jointly took delivery of three new cranes at the end of February in the Liebherr production plant in Ehingen; two LTM 1070-4.2 machines and an LTC 1050-3.1. The joint handover photograph demonstrates the good collaboration between the three companies – using the slogan “Together – for the good of the customer”.

Grâce à un traitement efficace des gaz d’échappement, les trois modèles sont conformes aux normes antipollution phase V/Tier 4f. Pour la première fois, les systèmes d’assistance innovants et la nouvelle direction par manipulateur des grandes chargeuses sur pneus XPower® sont disponibles sur la gamme intermédiaire.

Reinforcement for wind power – Myshak Group invests in first two Liebherr LG 1750 SX lattice boom mobile cranes in North America

Canadian crane and heavy haul contractor Myshak Crane & Rigging Ltd. took delivery of their first Liebherr LG 1750 SX mobile crane in December 2019 and their second upcoming in April 2020. The 750-tonne lattice boom crane will reinforce the company’s crane fleet and is mainly intended for jobs in the wind power industry. They are the first two LG 1750 with the powerful SX boom system in North America.

Telescopic truck-mounted crane hoists work platform through a gym roof

For the new-build gymnasium at a primary school in the south of Berlin, a telescopic work platform had to be hoisted over the roof into the site as access inside the hall itself was simply not possible. Crane contractor Herrmann & Wittrock used a Liebherr LTF 1060-4.1 truck-mounted crane from its branch in Gross Kienitz to hoist the eight-tonne device into position in constricted conditions.

Family-run Kran & Transport Lausitz takes delivery of Liebherr LTM 1050-3.1 mobile crane

A new LTM 1050-3.1 is going to Schleife in the District of Görlitz in East Saxony. Family-run Kran & Transport Lausitz will use the Liebherr 50-tonne mobile crane to replace a 15-year-old LTM 1045-3. One important criterion behind the purchase decision was that the LTM 1050-3.1 can carry the majority of its counterweights on public roads. That means it can be used quickly and flexibly as a taxi crane.

Les premières mises en service sont prévues chez les clients Holcim et KIBAG en Suisse. Cette conception est idéale pour la Suisse où les véhicules peuvent rouler avec un poids total autorisé de 40 tonnes sur 5 essieux.
