After breaking ground in 2021, Liebherr Components (Dalian) Co, Ltd. inaugurated its new production facility in Dalian (China) on March 19, 2024. On a gross surface area of around 44,000 m², Liebherr is not only consolidating the production of components in a new plant, but is also undertaking a major investment in the region.

Liduro Power Port (LPO) est un système de stockage d’énergie mobile dédié à l’alimentation des chantiers. Grâce à lui, les engins et équipements de terrassement à propulsion hybride ou entièrement électriques peuvent être utilisés ou rechargés sans aucune émission locale. La haute densité de puissance et la conception compacte du LPO permettent d'alimenter les machines et les sites de manière efficace et flexible, en respectant une large gamme d’exigences. Le système est capable d’atteindre une puissance de sortie de 160 kW.

Slewing bearings and drives by Liebherr contribute to the exploration of the universe

Liebherr's components product segment and mtex antenna technology join forces to provide the antennas for the next generation Very Large Array antennas (ngVLA), which will offer a glimpse into the infinite space reach. 20,000 hours: Liebherr injectors convince in field test

Liebherr's LI3 common rail injector impresses in the field test with an above-average runtime of 20,000 hours when used in an Australian iron ore mine. In one of the many mines in Western Australia, Liebherr's LI3 common rail injector demonstrated its full performance potential. During the real-life test, which took place in cooperation with one of the world's largest mining companies, this injector technology drove Liebherr’s 12-cylinder diesel V-engine. The D9812 installed in the Liebherr R 9400 mining excavator reached the planned end of its service life after 20,000 hours. But not the LI3 injectors installed in it. In this endurance test, they exceeded their previous service life by an impressive 25%.
