#AskLiebherr: Individual promotion of young talent at Bauma

Biberach/Munich, 5 April 2019 – At this year's Bauma in Munich Liebherr presents the whole range of training and career opportunities from 8 to 14 April. Students find support for their new career with the interactive careers advisor "Talent & Future" or under the hashtag #AskLiebherr. Here interested individuals have the opportunity to ask Liebherr staff their questions and thus obtain insights at first hand. Apart from exciting initiatives such as miniature crane driving in the ICM Foyer (Stand 308), experienced colleagues are also available at the Career Point outdoors in order to provide information about customized career opportunities at Liebherr.

#AskLiebherr: Starting a career made easy

Lots of school students from the Upper Swabia region will visit Liebherr at Bauma – the world’s leading construction machinery trade fair. In preparation, the Liebherr Group has launched a school campaign called “Ask Liebherr”, to encourage dialog with school students and find out what worries them most about starting a career.

Good news for Liebherr welding partnership with Smithfield High School

Liebherr Mining Equipment Newport News Co. strengthens its partnership with Smithfield High School. Just recently, the company inaugurated a new welding lab as one part of the high school’s new welding program. Liebherr contributes to the program by offering practical insights to the students, which can be helpful for college and careers.

Liebherr-Race 2017

On July 15th, the Liebherr-Race 2017 took place on the factory premises of Liebherr-Verzahntechnik GmbH in Kempten, South Germany. 300 pupils divided into 26 teams assembled self-constructed soapbox carts, with which they competed in the soapbox derby. The joint project is a cooperation between Liebherr-Verzahntechnik GmbH, Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH, Liebherr-Elektronik GmbH and 14 schools in the surrounding area.

Liebherr honors Employees in India

In Pune, the Liebherr Group felicitated a total of 20 staff on their five-year employment with the company. Since 2012, Liebherr has been manufacturing tower cranes in Pune for the Indian market.
