A l'occasion des journées portes-ouvertes 2015 sur le site de Ehingen, Liebherr présente aux visiteurs du monde entier sa nouvelle grue mobile de 250 tonnes de capacité. La LTM 1250-5.1 est désormais la grue mobile 5 essieux la plus puissance sur le marché. C'est également le troisième type de grue sur lequel Liebherr intègre son concept innovant de moteur unique. En-dehors d'une fléchette pliante multifonctionnelle, la grue peut être équipée d'une fléchette fixe de 50m de long. Les systèmes Liebherr novateurs VarioBase® et ECOmode confèrent aux exploitants de cette nouvelle LTM 1250-5.1 sécurité et rentabilité pendant les opérations.
Le système de contrepoids Vario est un nouveau concept de Liebherr. La LTM 1250-5.1 peut travailler avec deux rayons de contrepoids différents : 5,58m ou 4,78m. Liebherr a mis au point un système pour régler facilement et rapidement le rayon de giration du contrepoids. Des vérins de lestage de série, pivotants mécaniquement, réduisent le rayon de giration du contrepoids de 800mm. Cette solution est un atout notable de la nouvelle 250 tonnes, pour les applications en espaces confinés.
