Warehouse SupervisorBurlington, ON
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for providing support to external customers and Liebherr field technicians with respect to all aspects of the part and supply chain processes. Specifically, the role will respond to customer inquiries for parts and will provide support. In addition, this position is responsible for performing an array of parts and warehouse functions including supervision/management of parts/warehouse staff, overlooking parts inventory, stock in the warehouse, accenting and processing incoming stock materials and picking along with filling orders from stock.
Responsibilities
- In conjunction with the Manager, develop and implement parts/warehouse policies and process
- Support employee development through orientation, coaching, training, apprenticeships, performance management
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Parts/WH teams; includes monitoring staff performance to ensure that goals are met. Training and coaching staff and stakeholders
- Ensures departmental personnel are well-trained and understand all policies relating to operations of CEN
- Respond to customer requests for parts - provide parts pricing and availability, assist with array of questions, produce parts and service quotes, investigates and solves customer problems/issues
- Prepare purchase order and processes requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment
- Creates, ships and receives all branch transfers
- Assist with the administration of vendors and other representatives
- Work order management including opening and closing of work orders in a accurate manner ensuring all labour, parts, sublet, lubricant, shop supplies, cores and parts credit are accurate and invoicing of work completed per company policies and KPIs.
Competencies
- Strong leadership, people management, mentoring, and coaching abilities.
- Proven business acumen
- Experience in the Heavy Equipment or related industrial sectors is considered an asset.
- Customer-centric mindset with a track record of delivering high-quality support.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Supply Chain principles.
- Demonstrated experience in risk identification and mitigation.
