Une cathédrale russe orthodoxe est actuellement en construction en plein cœur de Paris, à proximité de la tour Eiffel. Ce sont au total cinq coupoles gigantesques recouvertes de feuilles d'or qui viendront couronner la cathédrale après sa finition. La plus grande des coupoles a été hissée par une grue mobile LTM 1350-6.1 de Liebherr en présence d'officiels et de dignitaires religieux français et russes. Une opération de levage sous très haute sécurité.
C'est l'entreprise Montagrues qui a été sélectionnée pour cette opération de levage peu ordinaire. Afin de hisser les huit tonnes de la coupole principale au-dessus de la cathédrale, l'exploitant de grues intervenant en Île-de-France a acheminé sa grue mobile portuaire LTM 1350-6.1 Liebherr sur le chantier qui se situait près de la tour Eiffel.
L'équipe de Montagrues a fait forte impression sur le site par sa précision et sa capacité à assurer le déroulement parfait des opérations. C'est sous les applaudissements des invités officiels et des badauds que la grue mobile a soulevé son imposante charge à une portée de 45 mètres exactement sur la petite tour de la cathédrale.
