La grue à montage rapide 53 K sera présentée au public pour la première fois à la foire des machines de chantier 2014 à Berne. De construction nouvelle, la grue de catégorie 50 mt est basée sur le principe de la série K dont on connait le succès. Elle permet de combler la lacune qui existait entre la 42 K.1 et la 65 K. Avec sa structure en treillis et sa cinématique de montage améliorée, la nouvelle grue à montage rapide offre plus de performance, de variabilité et de sécurité sur le chantier.
La 53 K atteint une hauteur maximum sous crochet de 31 m, soit une valeur de pointe dans la catégorie des 50 mt. Le système de télescopage rapide permet d'insérer de façon pratique et sûre jusqu'à trois éléments de mât complets. La hauteur sous crochet peut ainsi être adaptée au plus près à la situation sur le chantier. De plus, l'inclinaison de la flèche de 20° permet d'augmenter encore la hauteur maximum sous crochet à 43,1 m.
À flèche horizontale, la 53 K peut être configurée avec sept hauteurs sous crochet différentes entre 15,8 m et 31 m. La nouvelle grue est ainsi l'engin idéal pour la construction d'immeubles allant jusqu'à huit étages.

In Bovegno, Italy, work is progressing on a new drinking water treatment plant designed to supply thousands of residents and businesses across the Val Trompia region. Handling the major lifting tasks on site is a Liebherr 240 EC-B Fibre tower crane, its fourth deployment and the first of its kind to arrive in the country.
