Secure from end-to-end: Liebherr and Reycom showcase an AI-ready IoT solution at Agritechnica 2023

The modular IoT solution by Liebherr-Components and Reycom opens up a wide range of possibilities for OEMs – from setting up a smart factory to predictive maintenance and autonomous machines in agriculture. In cooperation with renowned technology partners, the IoT solution features a robust security infrastructure with active device management.

Liebherr participates in Shanghai Airshow 2023

As a system supplier to the Chinese ARJ21 and C919 aircraft platforms, Liebherr-Aerospace will participate in Shanghai Airshow from November 23 to 25, 2023 in Shanghai (China). The company will be represented at stand B16. On display will be for example the Boeing 777X folding wing tip actuation, a C919 main landing gear as well as air management systems components. Further highlights include weight-optimized components produced by using 3D printing technology.

The Liebherr tunnel excavator range expands with the new R 930 Tunnel crawler excavator, now launched on the world market. Developed at Liebherr-France SAS in Colmar (France), the R 930 Tunnel replaces the R 924 Compact Tunnel and allows high-level performance in all types of underground applications.

A Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 heads to Saudi Arabia: RISAL invests in a used crane

The Saudi Arabian company RISAL has taken delivery of a used Liebherr mobile crane: the LTM 1120-4.1, built in 2022, represents the start of a long-standing partnership. The 120-tonne crane is the most powerful 4-axle mobile crane on the market and also has the longest telescopic boom in its class. At RISAL, the Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 will be used for loading work.

Wasel modernises its crane fleet with innovative and powerful Liebherr cranes

WASEL GmbH continues to modernise its crane fleet with Liebherr mobile and crawler cranes. The subsidiary of the Hagedorn Group recently took delivery of an LTM 1750-9.1 and an LTM 1110-5.2. Deliveries of an LTM 1100-5.3 and an LTC 1050-3.1E, a compact crane with an additional electric crane drive, are imminent. WASEL has already signed the order for its third LR 11000 crawler crane. In addition to performance, both innovation and sustainability are the focus of its fleet upgrade programme.

Revitalizing Chicago one lift at a time

Midwest lifting company, Stevenson Crane, Rigging, and Heavy Haul (Stevenson) continue to rebuild Chicago’s industrial areas with their expansive fleet and specialized support equipment. Utilizing Liebherr’s LTM 1300-6.3 mobile crane, Stevenson supported the rebuild of the Server Farm Data Center based out of Chicago, IL.

Liebherr supplies sustainable technology to SNCF

Liebherr-Transportation Systems has been selected by SNCF to equip the Occitania Region’s fleet trains with new air cycle air-conditioning systems. Delivery will start in November 2023 and end in 2030. Liebherr will provide customer services throughout the whole life cycle of the units. The HVAC system technology uses only natural ambient air for cooling. No refrigerant is needed.

Fortescue receives first T 264 haul trucks

In October, Liebherr Mining delivered the first T 264 haul truck to Fortescue’s Eliwana mine site in the Pilbara, Western Australia. These trucks form part of a deal for 120 zero emission T 264 trucks to be deployed to Fortescue by 2030. The initial delivered units will be diesel powered and converted to Fortescue’s in-house battery solution – developed by Fortescue WAE – before the end of the decade.

The high reliability, strong lifting capacities and modern technologies of the Liebherr mobile crane were the main factors in the purchase decision of the Brazilian crane contractor Sistermi for the LTM 1250-5.1.
