Liebherr A 916 Litronic wheeled excavator at MaskinExpo 2014

With the A 916 Litronic, Liebherr is presenting a model in its wheeled excavator series at the MaskinExpo 2014. It is the direct successor to the A 316 Litronic and has a service weight, depending on the working equipment fitted, of between 17.0 and 18.1 tonnes.

The Liebherr truck-mounted concrete pump 41 M5 XXT exhibited at MaskinExpo 2014 is equipped with a powerful high-pressure pump unit THP 140H. It offers maximum concrete output of 140 m³/h and maximum concrete pressure of 119 bar. The torsional resistant 5-section multi-fold distributor boom has a length of 41 m. The vehicle presented in Stockholm is equipped with the unique and patented Liebherr XXT narrow support version.

Liebherr R 946 Crawler Excavator at the MaskinExpo 2014

The R 946 excavator exhibited at the MaskinExpo 2014 is equipped with a 6.45 m mono boom and a 3.3 m long dipper stick. The machine is powered by a Liebherr diesel engine that complies with the current stage IIIB / Tier 4i emission limits. This 6-cylinder engine develops 200 kW (272 hp) at 1,800 min−1.

Liebherr PR 736 – first new Generation 6 crawler tractor

Among Liebherr’s products on display at the 2014 MaskinExpo is the PR 736 crawler tractor, a new development with a service weight between 20 and 25 tonnes. The world premiere of the Generation 6 crawler tractors took place at Bauma 2013 in Munich, Germany, where the new concept designed for increased efficiency and for a reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions was introduced.

Liebherr LR 11350 crawler crane moves giant ring liner in India

A Liebherr crawler crane LR 11350 erected a complete pre-formed ring linger during the construction of reactor block 3 at the Kakrapar Nuclear Power Plant in Western India in the State Gujarat. A unit owned by Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL), the Government owned company for nuclear energy and nuclear power plants in India. With a diameter of around 50 m, a height of 5 m and a total weight of approx. 170 t including the weight of the ring, the spider type lifting tackle fitted with evener beam, the ring was probably the dimensionally largest single structure ever to have been hoisted by a crane in India. The Liebherr crane LR 11350 is owned by NPCIL.
