The Warranty Administrator is responsible for the compilation and submission of warranty claims within the guidelines of the Earth Moving Technology warranty manual. This position liaises with the service supervisors, warehouse department and EMT factories. Key requirements are quality claim submissions and timely management to maximize warranty recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Administrate the warranty process via the ERP systems in compliance with company standards
  • Process accurate warranty claims on a timely basis to avoid expirations
  • Review warranty WO for completion, accuracy and verified criteria by factories
  • Notify management of any deviations or corrections required and work closely with service team to ensure claim integrity
  • Submit LiOS tickets for pre-authorizations for major parts replacements
  • Adjust and follow up denied claims to secure payment for warranty work
  • Report rejected claims for escalation or authorization to write off
  • Track warranty parts by claim reference or WO number
  • Work with warehouse department to ensure defective parts requested by the factories are timely returned
  • Initiate factory service information properly and keep up-to-date with announcements
  • Provide bi-weekly tracking reporting detail on warranty claim submissions and status

Competencies

  • At least 1-3 years of warranty claim experience, preferably in the Heavy Equipment industry or related industry.
  • • Bilingual in French and English considered an asset.
  • • Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to multi-task and follow tasks as assigned.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • High degree of personal ownership and accountability.
  • Intermediate computer skills and an ability to learn new systems.
  • Technical knowledge will be considered an asset.
