Desde principios del año 2014, una grúa telescópica sobre cadenas LTR 1220 da buenos resultados en Perú en las condiciones más díficiles. La nueva grúa trabaja en una mina de cobre y cinc en los Andes, a casi 5.000 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Grúas Alquileres S.A., la propietaria de la grúa, está muy contenta con la inversión: La LTR 1220 trabaja excelentemente en las condiciones dadas de empleo. Se trata de la primera grúa de este tipo en Latinoamérica.
La grúa telescópica sobre cadenas LTR 1220 con una capacidad de carga máxima de 220 toneladas se encarga de la descarga de los componentes de dos excavadoras eléctricas de minería y de su montaje. La LTR 1220 de Liebherr es la grúa perfecta para este empleo: Ofrece una excelente potencia de carga, breves tiempos de montaje, una alta maniobrabilidad y se puede desplazar con plena carga.
Las condiciones difíciles en los Andes peruanos a casi 5.000 metros sobre el nivel del mar y con extremas fluctuaciones de la temperatura no son problemáticas para la grúa de 220 toneladas. Grúas Alquileres confirma que los trabajos de elevación se realizan de una manera muy económica y segura con la LTR 1220. Igualmente muy contento es el cliente Joy Global Peru SAC, la empresa que alquiló la LTR 1220 de Grúas Alquileres S.A. a largo plazo.
