German premiere for Liebherr’s most powerful High-Top crane: 1188 EC-H 40 Fibre supports major RWE project in Hürth
A Liebherr 1188 EC-H 40 Fibre is being used for the first time in Germany during the construction of RWE’s new sewage sludge mono-incineration plant in Hürth. The most powerful tower crane in Liebherr’s EC-H series was assembled by WASEL and is supporting the installation of heavy components in confined site conditions. With its innovative fibre technology the crane is making a decisive contribution to the progress of the project.

International training as a solution to the skills shortage
German engineering meets global perspectives: Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH demonstrates how international training can contribute to solving the shortage of skilled workers. Liebherr commissions new machines for Northern Star Resources
Liebherr-Australia successfully commissioned eight machines in July 2025 for Northern Star Resources – one of the world’s leading gold producers – at two of its operations in Western Australia. These machines join the five PR 776 dozers delivered to Northern Star Resources in February 2025.
