We are looking for a motivated Domain Architect Sales & Customer Services (m/f/d) to support the evolution and governance of business capabilities and IT demand across Liebherr’s Mixed Sales and Service Companies (MSCs). You will support business stakeholders by evaluating solution options, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and target capabilities, and strategic business objectives.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future business architecture of Liebherr’s global Sales and Service organizations in a highly international environment.
The working location for this position will be in Madrid city, where we operate a hybrid model, requiring at least 40% of the working time on-site.
Creating passion: your responsibilities
- Act as the Domain architect for Sales & Customer Services, supporting the evolution of IT-enabled business capabilities across Liebherr’s Mixed Sales and Service Companies (MSCs).
- Analyze business needs and initiatives providing architectural guidance and recommendations aligned with enterprise standards and target architecture, and business priorities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, pain points, and transformation priorities within the Sales and Customer Services domain.
- Support the evaluation of solution options and business requirements from an architectural and business capability perspective.
- Ensure alignment between business demand, enterprise architecture principles, and existing application and process landscapes.
- Work closely with Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM), Solution Architects, and delivery teams to ensure consistency across initiatives and domains.
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of business capability maps, domain roadmaps, and enterprise architecture documentation, leveraging tools such as LeanIX.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with business and IT stakeholders to support prioritization and alignment of initiatives.
- Promote standardization, simplification, and harmonization across Sales and Customer Services processes and solutions.
Contributing your strengths: your qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, business consulting, or related roles in complex international environments.
- Strong understanding of business processes within Sales, Customer Services, CRM, Field Services, or related domains.
- Experience translating business needs into architectural recommendations, target capabilities, and transformation roadmaps.
- Ability to work across business and IT organizations, balancing strategic objectives, operational needs, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Experience working in transformation programs or multinational environments with complex application landscapes.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) practices and tools such as LeanIX, including business capability mapping, application portfolio management, and architecture governance.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior business and IT leaders.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., German or Spanish) are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 20%) as required by project work.
