Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and application servers. Monitor server performance and provide support in troubleshooting server-related issues.
• Support the implementation and management of server patch updates to ensure systems are secure and up to date. Assist in the deployment and management of security software and tools.
• Assist in monitoring and responding to potential virus threats. Maintain client protection policies to ensure endpoint security.
• Regular monitoring of backup alerts and processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Ensure policy compliance to manage and secure paper-processing devices such as printers and scanners. Monitor the performance and security of these devices and troubleshoot issues.
• Help manage software licenses, warranties, and annual maintenance contracts. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
• Assist in coordinating with vendors for the procurement and maintenance of IT hardware and software.
• Ensure regular monitoring, secure storage and management of logfiles.
• Help implement multi-factor authentication policies to enhance security for server access.
• Assist in user onboarding and provide support in troubleshooting authentication issues.
• Coordination with global IT and local cyber security team for implementation of upcoming tools and technologies.

Qualification and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.

Experience

• Internship experience and basic understanding of server operations, networking, and IT security concepts.

Preferred Skills / Special Skills

• Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills in server management and security policies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Windows server systems and security software is a plus.

Working Conditions

• Flexible to work at Office as well as factory datacentre environments.
• Occasional shifting & installation of IT equipment.
