Liebherr celebrates its 75th anniversary

The Liebherr Group is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2024. To mark the occasion, we are celebrating ‘75 years of moving forward’. In 1949, the pioneer Hans Liebherr invented the world’s first mobile tower crane, laying the foundations for the future group of companies. To this day, our Group continues to be moulded by that pioneering spirit and the courage to explore new avenues.

Every day, more than 50,000 employees in over 50 countries on every continent work with passion and ingenuity to continuously redefine the limits of what is possible – and so help to significantly shape technological progress in many industries. This year, we would like to celebrate our 75-year success story with our employees, customers and partners all over the world.

My life has led me to consider that, with a strong will to do good work and fulfill different customer requirements to the best of your ability, you can also achieve goals that at first seem almost unimaginable. Don't allow yourself to be disheartened by set-backs, having faith can move mountains.
