Liebherr supplies the air management system and the landing gear system for the Bombardier CS300 aircraft.

On February 27, 2015, the CS300* aircraft - the largest model in Bombardier’s CSeries* family of aircraft - successfully completed its maiden flight. Liebherr-Aerospace supplies major systems and components in the fields of air management and landing gear for the aircraft.

The integrated air management system features light-weight and highly reliable components. It has been developed and is manufactured by Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS (France), Liebherr’s center of excellence for air management systems. Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH (Germany), Liebherr’s center of excellence for landing gear and flight control and actuation systems, is responsible for developing and producing the landing gear system.

Liebherr-Aerospace applied the extensive experience gained in the commercial aviation sector, and particularly in other Bombardier programs, and further optimized the operating costs and reliability of its technologies for the CS300 aircraft.

Liebherr-Aerospace offers support solutions for its components and systems during the CS300 aircraft’s entire life cycle. Thanks to its international network of maintenance, repair and overhaul stations and spares distribution facilities, the company’s customer service organization ensures customer proximity and high-level performance for aircraft operators across the world.
