LTF 1060-4.1

Our LTF 1060-4.1 telescopic truck-mounted crane is a low cost alternative in the taxi crane class. Why? First of all, the 4-axle crane can carry all its ballast on public roads. This means that it is immediately ready for action once it reaches the site and it does not require any transport vehicles. Secondly, the truck-mounted crane is mounted on a standard truck chassis. That means you benefit from lower costs for tyres and common truck parts compared to all-terrain cranes. And finally, the various axle loads can be adjusted quickly, meaning that long term permits for many roads can be obtained significantly more easily.

ECOmode minimises both fuel consumption and noise emissions when operating the crane superstructure. The crane operator sets the required working speed using the control lever. The LICCON 2 control system calculates the perfect engine speed for the diesel engine.

VarioBase makes the crane’s support system variable. It enables each outrigger to be extended to a different length. This enhances safety – particularly in constricted spaces. And what's more, the crane’s lifting capacities are significantly increased, particularly over the outriggers and depending on the configuration.

LTF 1060-4.1 hoists work platform through the roof:

For the new-build gymnasium at a primary school, a telescopic work platform had to be hoisted over the roof into the site as access inside the hall itself was simply not possible. A Liebherr LTF 1060-4.1 truck-mounted crane was used to hoist the heavy device in constricted conditions. Find out more

LTF cranes slide Wuppertal suspension railway train into retirement:

After around 45 years’ operation, WSW Mobil, the operating company behind the Wuppertal suspension railway, has replaced the final trains. After a maximum of 45 years in operation, the trains were removed and taken to new sites. Two LTF 1060-4.1 mobile cranes were used for the job. Find out more
