The company specialises in company relocations, machine assembly and machine transport work and started its own crane department four years ago both for hire and for in-house crane use for machine assembly jobs. Liebherr crane hoists smaller partner out of bridge construction site

For years the Heidingsfeld viaduct on the A3 motorway to the south of Würzburg has been one of the largest construction and traffic jam sites on the German motorway network. Now, just for a change, there has been good reason for drivers, who were previously used to sitting in a traffic jam there, to pass this massive building site at walking pace. In a spectacular procedure, a Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane hoisted its smaller partner, an LTM 1250-5.1, out of the remainder of the bridge. Find out more

Between wind turbines and railway bridges – Wiesbauer completes all sorts of projects using a Liebherr crawler crane

Crane contractor Wiesbauer, based between Stuttgart and Heilbronn, has been operating a Liebherr LR 11000 crawler crane since autumn 2017. The company operates on a nationwide basis and has five sites in Baden-Württemberg, concentrating on heavy haulage and industrial assembly work in addition to its classic crane business. The new 1000 tonne crawler crane is currently the most powerful machine in the crane contractor’s fleet. Whilst the LR 11000 initially exclusively tackled jobs in the wind industry, the large crane has now also shown what it can do for the first time on an infrastructure project. Find out more

Soon with over 400 Liebherr mobile cranes in its fleet:
Al Faris places major order

Liebherr has received another major order from Al Faris Equipment Rentals. The crane rental company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has ordered a further 36 mobile cranes worth around 25 million euros. The order includes twelve cranes from the new Liebherr LRT rough terrain crane series. Four new LTM 1230-5-1 cranes have also been ordered. Find out more

E-learning – Liebherr explores new way for training mobile crane operators
