This position will be responsible for providing expertise and understanding of Supply Chain and Warehouse Logistics in support of manufacturing operations and sales of Liebherr’s mining trucks and equipment. This position will support the ongoing development of processes to support Supply Chain and Warehousing efficiency. This position will be responsible for leading and coordinating activities of designated projects for Liebherr’s warehouse and logistic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with other key users and consultants to describe specific Supply Chain and Warehouse Logistics processes and functions
  • Collect and analyze data on supply chain and warehouse logistics operations to improve efficiencies
  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects
  • Tracks, analyzes and reports on KPI relative to supply chain and warehouse logistics
  • Serves as the Warehouse Logistics SME (Subject Matter Expert) with regards to Supply Chain, Warehousing and Logistics processes
  • Serves as interface between end users within Liebherr and other Liebherr divisions.
  • Trains and educates end users on ERP and WMS system processes.
  • Organizes and conducts testing in the ERP and WMS systems.
  • Works closely with the Warehouse Logistics team to validate processes.
  • Coordinates activities of end user personnel in support of project schedules.
  • Serves as the POC for all end users regarding inquiries in the ERP/WMS systems.

Competencies

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a supply chain or warehouse logistics field.
  • Experience utilizing MRP/ERP software, such as Infor LN, for supply chain and warehouse logistics material management.
  • Knowledge of relational databases.
  • Working with product lifecycle management software (such as PTC Windchill, LIKV, or Arena).
  • Proven project management skills to include demonstrated knowledge in project planning,communication and budget handling.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Leading teams in LEAN process initiatives.
  • Knowledge of theoretical and practical Supply Chain and Warehouse Logistics Practices.
  • Knowledge of fundamental engineering and project management concepts and practices.
  • Knowledge of ERP LN/WMS system as it relates to mining truck Supply chain and Inventory control.
  • Knowledge of basic heavy equipment warehouse processes, equipment, and work area requirements.
  • Read and interpret technical documents such as engineering specifications, drawings, blue prints, procedures, and manuals.
  • Work with mathematical concepts such as algebra, probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Apply time-management Skills.
  • Apply interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport.

The company
