Liebherr supplies heating and ventilation components for the Light Attack Helicopter (LAH) of Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI). The helicopter manufacturer celebrated the roll out of the LAH in December 2018 and began with first flight tests in Sacheon in July this year.

Liebherr developed world-leading heating and ventilation systems for a wide range of top-ranking military helicopters. The technology of Liebherr’s supplies to KAI’s Light Attack Helicopter builds upon a family of heating systems and components that equip such helicopters as Airbus Helicopters’ H175, H155, NH 90 and Tiger, as well as Leonardo’s AW149 and A129 or HAL’s Advanced Light Helicopter.

This heritage of excellence makes the systems and components made by Liebherr a world standard in terms of lightweight, high-reliability, performance-optimized heating systems for helicopters.
